Attention Deficit Disorder in Finland

Welcome to the ADD/ADHD page in Finland.

The Finnish association for MBD / ADD was founded in 1989. The purposes of the association are to support children and adults with ADD and such kind disorder, and their families, to co-operate with other organizations, schools, health care centers and social workers.

- We have an office in Helsinki with two full-time employees. Our office is a part of MBD-center, where you get information, therapy and material about MBD/ADD.
- We have membership from 20 local support groups from all over Finland.
- We organize about 10 different courses in coping and adaptation for families and teenagers.
- We also organize holiday activities.
- Our association publishes a periodical called MBD-lehti - MBD-magazine, four times a year.
