For ten years (from
1984 to 1994) I was an international geography teacher. From January
1995 until April 1999 I was based in England and worked as an
educational author and adviser. Since April 1999 I have been working
at St John's International School in Bangkok, Thailand, where
I am in charge of the secondary school.
I have experience
of several educational systems including the UK (GCSE, O, M and
A levels), IGCSE, the International Baccalaureate and the Zimbabwe
Junior certificate (ZJC). In case you're interested (well you
might be!) I have previously worked at:
- Mount Pleasant
School in Harare, Zimbabwe
- Washington International
School in Washington DC, USA
- Chelmsford College
of Further Education in Essex, England
- Bahrain School
in Manama, Bahrain
- Doha College
in Qatar.
If any staff or
students (current or former) of these establishments visit this
page I'd love to get some up to date news so please email me with
the latest.
Alongside my main
job I also work as a freelance geography adviser and author.
