Earth
This is the only planet we know which has living things on it!! It started off as tiny 'single-celled' organisms, now over a period of billions of years those little organisms have grown into more and more complex creatures until the most intelligent animals (US!!) were created. now the Earth is filled with lots of living things such as plants and animals. But our world will not last forever, eventually as the sun begins to loose its fuel, it will swell up into a 'red giant' which will engulf mercury and Venus and totally destroy earth!!!!!!!!!!! ooooooooooooooo Fortunate this WILL NOT happen for many millions of years and when it does we will be so technologically advanced that we may be living on planets and moons not even in our galaxy!!! Earth is the 5th largest planet in our solar system. The moon is our closest neighbour. Its average distance from earth is 384,00 Km (239,000 miles). If a car travelled at 160 Km/h (100 mph ) it would take almost one hundred days to cover the distance! The moon takes 27 days to travel round the earth and maybe one day we might all be taking our holidays on the moon instead of in France!
