Owner writes: Very friendly, loving dog. I have been in contact with the police and the dog warden and various kennels within the area but to no avail. My children and I are heartbroken at his disappearance and would love to get him back.
He was either stolen from garden or he slipped out of the garden gate and was picked up.

Dog was snatched from owner on a walk and taken away in a car which was waiting, engine running, at the kerbside on April 6th in Great Barr, Birmingham.
A witness has given them the Reg. Number of the car, a Rover - but it was stolen in Walsall and has since been used in other crimes.

In April a man and a young girl took a Westie to a house half a mile away enquiring whether the dog belonged to the house.

Added 3rd June, 2003 LD1880White with black skin pigmentation especially on ears, black claws. He was clipped in April 2003 so his coat is of medium length. Small pimple under muzzle like an enlarged hair follicle. He has good skin for a Westie but is prone to ear infections, he was clear of infection when he disappeared. He is a very good natured animal, very trusting and good with children but can be quite excitable with children he doesn't know. He's not very obedient and would easily jump into a car with a stranger. He is a lovely family pet and owners would just like to get him home.
