Welcome to New Users

The College Library is open to all students on full-time, part-time or evening courses. The general public can use the library but not borrow books.

The Library is on two sites. At Richmond Terrace we concentrate on science, engineering, building and computing. At York Place we specialise in business, management, catering, art, media and humanities. General fiction is at York Place with a small collection of fantasy/science fiction at Richmond Terrace.

LIBRARY STOCK

The books are arranged by the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme, but we have much more than just books. We have:

• Periodicals (magazines and newspapers)
• Newspaper cuttings and illustrations
• Periodical indexes
• Videos
• Audiocassettes
• Computer software
• CD-ROM

OTHER SERVICES

In addition to study spaces (including a quiet study area at Richmond Terrace), library users have access to:

LIBRARY OPENING HOURS

During term time the libraries are open:

 Monday - Thursday         9.00am - 8.00pm 

Friday                    9.00am - 5.00pm

Vacation opening hours are restricted. Please confirm by checking Library noticeboards or by telephone.
