INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

My main interests include:

Politics: Having stood for local elections, and applied for inclusion as a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate. I also have been involved in all areas of campaigning;

Computing: Especially using the internet and HTML programming. I am interested in studying the use of computers and multimedia within the field of Specific Learning Difficulties and education;

Reading: Particularly the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. I also took part in the Universtiy of Sussex production of Wyrd Sisters, adapted by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Briggs, in January 1997.

Sailing: I am a member of the University of Sussex and Brighton Sailing Club.

Travelling: I am interested in different countries and cultures and seeing and meeting new people and places.

In the past I have also enjoyed gliding, swimming, archery and cross-country skiing, and still take part whenever possible.

I am also involved in work with a new charity called Operation Collingwood.
